Eternal Warrior #1 (1992) is the first issue of the ongoing series that tells the story of Gilad Anni-Padda, a warrior who has been granted immortality by the Earth itself. The issue opens with Gilad battling a group of barbarian warriors in ancient Anatolia. He is victorious, but he is also deeply troubled by the violence and chaos that he sees around him. The issue is also notable for its stunning artwork by John Dixon.
