To attend, you must collect a mask on the Hive Board – clear tokens that can be placed on your Player Mat character. Clear cards overlay the Ton and L&C cards in the ballroom during the third week, masking the people on the cards. These cards provide a wild crest and allow you to choose an influence to gain on your influence track. Additionally, this expansion includes a new card in the L&C deck with a masquerade-specific end game scoring goal.
